The Taming of the Shrew

The Royal Shakespeare Company creates theatre at its best, made in Stratford-upon-Avon and shared around the world.  Each year, they produce an artistic program with the aim of setting Shakespeare in context, alongside the work of his contemporaries and today’s writers.  All RSC productions begin life at their Stratford workshops and theatres, followed by touring, residencies, live broadcasts and online activity to share with the widest possible audience.  

RSC has trained generations of the very best theatre makers, and encourages everyone to enjoy a lifelong relationship with Shakespeare and live theatre.  Each year, RSC reaches 530,000 children and young people through their education work, transforming their experiences in the classroom, in performance and online.
