Welcome to Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks—a summertime celebration of creativity, community, and connection.
Every member of the ensemble, made up of multidisciplinary artists from Chicago Shakespeare and our arts partner organizations, has lent their unique artistic voice and vision to this collective exploration of heroism. Using Shakespeare’s original text, music from different genres, and their own imaginations, the ensemble has collaborated to make tonight's performance a truly special one for you.
Built on partnerships forged over the past twelve years, our CoLab programs, like Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks, deepen relationships with artists and community-based organizations across the city, and redefine the artistic process as inclusive, equitable—and, above all, participatory. We hope you love what we have all created, together.
