La Shawn attended a performing arts high school in Buffalo. First introduced to Shakespeare in seventh grade, La Shawn recalls: “I loved it! I wanted to read ALL the plays!” What he loves about Shakespeare is that “his characters are so flawed and deeply human—that’s always fun stuff for an actor.”
