Neil Bartram returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where he wrote the music and lyrics for The Adventures of Pinocchio, which is now licensed worldwide by Rodgers & Hammerstein. Mr. Bartram is the composer and lyricist of Broadway’s The Story of My Life (four Drama Desk Award nominations), written with book writer Brian Hill. Regional credits include Senza Luce (Canadian Music Theatre Project); You Are Here (Thousand Islands Playhouse); The Theory of Relativity (Goodspeed Musicals, Off-West End London); and Spin (Signature Theatre). Upcoming projects include a musical adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s Something Wicked This Way Comes and the stage adaptation of Disney’s Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Mr. Bartram’s awards include the ASCAP Foundation’s Yellen Award, a Jonathan Larson Foundation Award and a Dramatists Guild Fellowship. Cast albums include The Story of My Life and The Theory of Relativity (both on PS Classics).
