Greg Vinkler returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include: Dr. Caius in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Oronte in The School for Lies, the title role in King Lear (Jeff Award), Falstaff in Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2 (CST and on tour to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon-Avon), Jaques in As You Like It, Malvolio in Twelfth Night (Jeff Award), Polonius in Hamlet (Jeff Award) and twenty-six other productions. Other Chicago credits include: Oliver! (Marriott Theatre); One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Steppenwolf Theatre Company and the Barbican Theatre, London); The Rose Tattoo, The Beard of Avon (Goodman Theatre); and Jest a Second (Victory Gardens Theater). Most recently, credits include: Doc in the long-running Broadway revival of West Side Story; Senex in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Paper Mill Playhouse); and Charlie in August: Osage County (Fulton Theatre). Mr. Vinkler is the artistic director of the Peninsula Players Theatre in Door County, Wisconsin.
