Ben Carlson returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where he appeared in The School for Lies, Hamlet (Jeff Award), Macbeth and St. Joan. His Stratford Festival credits include: Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, The Winter’s Tale, The Misanthrope, Julius Caesar, Twelfth Night, Blithe Spirit, Antony and Cleopatra, The Importance of Being Earnest, Mary Stuart, As You Like It, Henry V and Mother Courage and her Children. Over twenty-five productions at the Shaw Festival include: Man and Superman, Major Barbara, Three Sisters, The Plough and the Stars, The Return of the Prodigal, The Seagull and All My Sons. US regional credits include: Philadelphia, Here I Come!, The Vortex (Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia) and numerous credits in many theaters across Canada. Recent television credits include: Saving Hope, The Firm, Grey Gardens, Warehouse 13 and Rookie Blue. Mr. Carlson provided his voice in the Oscar-nominated short animated film Wild Life. Upcoming credits at Stratford Festival include Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew and Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music.
