Nell Gwynn

Recently directed/choreographed the critically acclaimed production of The Sound of Music at Paramount Theatre. Other regional credits include the current production of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story at Marriott Theatre, Rock of Ages, Beauty and the Beast (Jeff nominated Best Production), The Wizard of Oz (Jeff nominated for Best Production/Direction), Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Jeff nominated for Best Production), Hairspray, Elf, Peter Pan, a Musical Adventure at Chicago Shakespeare and many other regional shows. She also performed for 15 years, including her first professional show at Chicago Shakespeare. She is a proud Northwestern University graduate. She thanks her husband for being the best partner and her amazing mom village that keeps her moving and grooving. She couldn't do this show without her amazing team of Nich and Charlotte as well. Her favorite productions to date are her two kids.
