Rick Fox makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Broadway credits include: Jesus Christ Superstar, Rent, Blood Brothers and Sharon Lois & Bram at the Palace. Off Broadway credits include music direction/orchestrations for Once Around the City (Second Stage Theatre). His six years as the Director of Music at Stratford Festival include: musical direction/supervision for Tommy, Jesus Christ Superstar, Camelot, Evita, Jacques Brel, West Side Story, Cabaret, new orchestrations for Brel, Cabaret, Kiss Me Kate, Evita, composer for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Caesar and Cleopatra starring Christopher Plummer. Other festival credits include work with Charlottetown Festival (Evangeline orchestrations), Williamstown Theatre Festival and NAMT. Toronto credits include: the Canadian premieres of The Lion King, We Will Rock You, The Producers, Rent, Tommy, Blood Brothers, The Phantom of the Opera and The Lord of the Rings (world premiere). Television credits include musical director/arranger/conductor for Colm Wilkinson and Patti LuPone at the Hammerstein Ballroom (PBS) and numerous CBC specials (Canada). Mr. Fox is a nine-time Dora Award nominee (Toronto) and four-time winner.
