Benedict Santos Schwegel makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Other Chicago credits include Fritz in The Nutcracker (Ballet Chicago) and Oliver! (Light Opera Works). Film and industrial credits include Happy Hour, Whirlpool and Kindermusik. Digital interactive and commercial credits include Jenni-O, Sears, Meijer and V-Tech. Benedict has trained at Lookingglass Theatre Performing Arts Camps. He is also a boy soprano soloist and sings duets with his sister Bernadette at churches throughout Chicagoland. Benedict is in fifth grade at Skinner North Classical, and when not performing, he studies ballet, piano, recorder and violin.
