Arthur Laurents Tony Award-winning writer-director, is considered by many to be American theater's greatest librettist. Throughout his career, he penned such notable musicals as: West Side StoryGypsy; Anyone Can WhistleDo I Hear a Waltz?Hallelujah, Baby! and Nick & Nora. In addition, Laurents was also known for being an acclaimed screenwriter, playwright and director.
