Mairi Morrison has previously collaborated with the National Theatre of Scotland on the 2013 UK tour of Dunsinane (with the Royal Shakespeare Company) and A Dead Man’s Dying (with Òran Mór). Other theater credits include: Whisky Kisses, The Admirable Crichton, The Yellow on the Broom, Perfect Days (Pitlochry Festival Theatre); Angus, Weaver of Grass (Horse and Bamboo Theatre); Jacobite Country, The Seer (Dogstar); Eat Your Heart Out (Òran Mór); Roghainn nan Daoine/ The People’s Choice, Metagama (Theatre Hebrides); and her self-penned solo show Beasts of Holm (Edinburgh Festival Fringe). Film and television credits include: Katie Morag, Two Days in October, Bannan, Taggart, Crowdie and Cream, Bad Brown Owl, PC Alasdair Stewart, Lostbost, Broadford or Bust, Na Daoine Beaga, Iomadh Rud, Miughlaigh and An Roghainn. As a singer, Ms. Morrison has performed at many festivals and appeared on numerous music programs. She performed at the Olympic Torch Ceremony in Glasgow, and her collaboration with Alasdair Roberts, Urstan, was voted one of The Herald Newspaper’s Top 50 Albums of the Year in 2012. Ms. Morrison also has extensive experience as a voice over artist. She trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
