Ms. Biran was born in Pinsk, a small Belarusian town, in 1990. She studied in the Belarusian State University as a journalist and literary editor for four years, until she was forced to interrupt her studies. At various times she has worked as a saleswoman, a journalist and a waitress, and engaged in literary work and proofreading. Ms. Biran now lives in Minsk. Since January 2014 she has been the Co-founder and Coordinator of a project about gender and sexuality in Belarus, called MAKEOUT.by.
