26/27 Season Student Matinees:
Experiencing Shakespeare’s works through live performance is a critical tool for learning. Through our student matinee series, students can connect the dots between complex texts and nuanced themes while building the skills of empathy and compassion in a way that is only possible when a story is brought to life on stage.
This season, we are offering a 90‑minute production of Romeo y Julieta, a vibrant bilingual adaptation. This Short Shakespeare! experience will be especially impactful for today’s student audiences, offering fresh perspectives, reflecting our mission for curating multicultural, intergenerational experiences, and critically engaging with Shakespeare.
