Rengin Altay returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where she played Lady MacDuff in Macbeth and Nerissa in The Merchant of Venice. Chicago credits include: Float (About Face Theatre); Cat Feet (Northlight Theatre); Necessary Targets, Zorba (Apple Tree Theatre); The Vagina Monologues (Apollo Theater); Mom’s the Word (Royal George Theatre, Metropolis Performing Arts Centre); Long Day’s Journey Into Night (Irish Repertory, Galway Arts Festival); A Little Night Music, The Iceman Cometh, A Christmas Carol (Goodman Theatre); work with Victory Gardens Theater, Wisdom Bridge Theatre and Court Theatre, and numerous productions with Bernard Sahlins. Regional credits include: Northeast Local (Trinity Repertory Company); As You Like It (Huntington Theatre); All My Sons, You Can’t Take It with You (Peninsula Players); and Arms and the Man (Madison Repertory Theatre). Film credits include Light It Up, A Piece of Eden, Crush and Stranger than Fiction. Television and voiceover credits include: ER, Early Edition, Cupid, The Human Factor andYeesha in the Myst computer-game series.
