Romantics Anonymous TrailerBroadcast in September 2020, this WorldStage event from the UK enabled audiences to delight in the joys of live performance with a one-time, special live stream direct from the Bristol Old Vic. The acclaimed production was  aired simultaneously to partner theaters across four continents. Directed by the internationally renowned theater provocateur Emma Rice, best known for her ground-breaking work as artistic director of Kneehigh Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe, this delicious, musical love story is all about breaking the mold and finding the courage to be happy. When Angelique, a gifted chocolate maker inhibited by her shyness and social anxiety, takes a job in Jean-Rene’s struggling chocolate factory—a fragile love affair unfolds.
