by Spymonkey

Monday, December 12, 2016
10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
in Chicago Shakespeare’s Skyline Room

In this short introduction to the fundamental principals of Spymonkey’s clown theater, participants will look at how to discover what makes them each uniquely funny. Through clear and specific instruction, Spymonkey will support participants to develop and hone their comedic skills in a safe and fun environment, and practice making an audience belly laugh.

A positive group dynamic will allow participants to focus on following impulses, being spontaneous, adventurous and taking risks. In this highly enjoyable workshop participants will play games, do exercises to develop trust and complicity within the group and with an audience.

This workshop will create a fresh, trusting and highly enjoyable atmosphere, as participants discover their funny.

Spymonkey have been leading workshops all over the world in their unique method of clown comedy for the last 15 years. Learn more about Spymonkey’s education programs here: www.spymonkey.co.uk/education.html
