With its 50 acres of parks, promenades, entertainment attractions, shops and restaurants, Navy Pier is the most visited attraction in the entire Midwest. In the center of Chicago's vibrant downtown, the Pier is easily accessible from all directions. Whether it is Winter Wonderfest, Art Chicago or a performance at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, there is always something happening at Navy Pier. View a detailed map.
As it approaches its 100th anniversary in 2016, Navy Pier is set to embark on a journey that culminates in its reimagining as an iconic attraction—reconnecting Chicago to its Lake, to culture and to spectacle.
Currently, Phase One of the re-imagined Navy Pier is underway. We apologize for any inconvenience and assure you that you will have direct access to the Theater and our dedicated garage parking. Please do not hesitate to call Guest Services (312.595.5600) if you have any questions.
CST patrons who drive and park: will continue to have access to the Theater‘s dedicated parking and Chicago Shakespeare directly through Door # 5 in the West Garage during the first phase of the Pier development.
Internationally acclaimed urban landscape designer, James Horner Field Operations (JHFO), has designed the Pier’s public realm, which includes Gateway Park, Crystal Garden, Pier Park, the South Dock and East End Park—along with smaller public spaces along the length of the Pier. Recreating the Pierscape will include changes to the landscape and streetscape, the introduction of public art and water features, and relighting the Pier’s exterior.
