Lanise Antoine Shelley returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where she appeared in Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks. Other Chicago credits include workshop of Convert, Safe House (Goodman Theatre) and workshop of Organizing Abraham Lincoln (Victory Gardens Theater). Regional credits include: As You Like It (American Repertory Theater); Two Plays by Sophocles (Outside The Wire); Shock Brigade Women in Combat (Baba Yaga Productions); A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Julius Caesar (Shakespeare Santa Cruz), and productions with: Milwaukee Repertory Theater (resident company member for five years), Indiana Repertory Theater, Book-It Repertory Theater and Seattle Repertory Theatre. Lanise received an MFA from ART/MXAT at Harvard University and a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts.
