Chicago Shakespeare strives to make its facility and performances accessible to all patrons. When purchasing tickets for an Access Shakespeare performance, please indicate your wish to participate in the program so that we may provide the best possible seats and service. If disability assistance is required, you’ll find that our staff is ready to help in any way possible. Below are scheduled performances for Henry V:
Audio-described Performances/Touch Tour:
Sunday, June 1, 2014, 2:00 p.m. (Touch Tour begins at 12:15 p.m.)
Open-captioned Performances:
Friday, May 30, 2014, 7:30 p.m.
ASL Duo-interpreted Performances:
Friday, June 6, 2014, 7:30 p.m.
This season, we are introducing Access Shakespeare Pay-What-You-Can for patrons utilizing our ASL Duo-interpreter, Open-captioned and Audio-described services. Understanding that patrons participating in these programs represent a broad financial spectrum, we’re putting it in their hands to pay what they can, to ensure that our productions are as available as possible, to the widest audience possible. For both single ticket and subscription purchases, we are happy to extend this pay-what-you-can program to the patron utilizing the service and to one companion.
To purchase Access Shakespeare Pay-What-You-Can single ticket or subscriptions, please contact our Box Office during regular business hours. Please purchase your tickets in advance to participate in our Access programs: ASL duo-interpretation, open captioning or audio description. Programs with no attendance may be cancelled 48 hours prior to the show.
