Molly Glynn (Katherina, July 12 – 21) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, after appearing in Short Shakespeare! The Taming of the Shrew when it premiered in the spring. Other Chicago credits include: The Uneasy Chair (Writers’ Theatre); Permanent Collection (Northlight Theatre); Orange Flower Water (Steppenwolf Theatre Company and the Galway Arts Festival, Ireland); The Comedy of Errors (First Folio Shakespeare Festival); Heritage, Strictly Dishonorable (American Theater Company); Suburban Motel, Hellcab (Famous Door Theatre); Pygmalion (Apple Tree Theatre); and The Boarding House (Next Theatre Company). Regional credits include Holes (First Stage Milwaukee); The Tempest and Cyrano de Bergerac (American Stage Festival). Film and TV credits include: And Then I Woke Up for Project Greenlight, Last Day, No Sleep ‘til Madison, What Are You Having?, Early Edition (CBS) and numerous television commercials. Molly saw Cymbeline performed when she was in the eighth grade and has loved Shakespeare’s plays ever since. She also loves “the shared experience between actors and audience,” and live performances that “are never the same twice.”
