Shane Michael Murphy (Biondello) makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Other credits include Tristan Tzara in Tom Stoppard’s Travesties, Yo Yo in Charles Busch’s Psycho Beach Party and Kit Carson in William Saroyan’s The Time of Your Life. In the fall, he will perform in the world premiere of Andy Lampl’s new play A Paper Flower. Shane is a recent graduate of Northwestern University, and has been acting in plays since he was in second grade. He decided on drama as a career when he was 14 years old. He loves performing because “it proves that people really can do anything they want to do, as long as they believe they can.”
