Chicago Shakespeare Theater and its neighbor, Chicago Children’s Museum, are partners in creating the learning activities for Seussical. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, families can participate by creating “Wearable Books” in the Theater Lobby with Chicago Children’s Museum art educators. The stories and pictures from Dr. Seuss’s books are used as inspiration to create a new story on the stage. Now the young people in your life can bring a story to life by creating a handmade book. They can wear their book proudly and share their story with friends and family!
The “Wearable Books” activity occurs July 9–August 14 at the following times:
- Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
- Thursdays from 12:15 p.m.–2:00 p.m. (except 10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. on July 10)
Lobby activities generously supported by ComEd.
