Juan Francisco Villa makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Other Chicago credits include: Hillary and Clinton, Mojada (Victory Gardens Theater); 2666, El Grito del Bronx (Goodman Theatre); Elliot: A Soldiers Fugue (Teatro Vista); Empanada for a Dream, Gun Show (16th Street Theater); and Take Me Out (About Face Theatre). Off-Broadway credit include: Empanada for a Dream (The Duke, terraNOVA); The Play About My Dad (Collaboration Town, 59E59); Nature of Captivity (Mabou Mines); and One Night in The Valley (INTAR). Film credits include: One Night Stand, The Tank, Lac de Flambeau, Q, East Willy B, Gemini Rising and Audition for Death. Television credits include: Chicago PD (NBC) and Betrayal (ABC). He will be appearing next year in Writers Theatre’s production of The Scene.
