Maryia Sazonaya

Ms. Sazonava’s creative activities began in 1994 when she joined Gostsitsa Folk Theatre. In 1998 she entered the Belarusian Academy of Arts (BAA), but left before completing the program. During this time she worked as an actress in a theater named after Yanka Kupala. Ms. Sazonava’s career has included work with the musical groups Yuria and Wolf, and dancing with the ballet troupe Todes. She currently works as a teacher at BFT’s Fortinbras studio in Minsk and is the vocalist of the Belarusian band BYCRY.
