Lumiere

Bernie Yvon returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include Horton in Seussical! the Musical (After Dark Award) and the title role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is a five-time Jeff Award nominee, including Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast (Marriott Theatre), and Wilde Award nominee for Lawrence in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Recent credits include Frank in Show Boat and Bogdanovich in The Merry Widow (Lyric Opera of Chicago). Other Chicago credits include: Harold Hill in The Music Man, Michael in I Do I Do, Elliot in The Goodbye Girl, Roger Debris in The Producers, Corny Collins in Hairspray, Hysterium in Forum, Albert in Bye Bye Birdie, both Princes in Into the Woods, Houdini in Houdini, the Musical, and seven times as Don Lockwood in Singin' in the Rain. Broadway credits include: Harry Houdini in Ragtime. National tour credits include: The Producers, Cabaret, Ragtime and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (understudy to Donny Osmond). Mr. Yvon will next appear as John Adams in Frank Galati's production of 1776 at Asolo Repertory.
