Arts Leadership Program
The Arts Leadership Program is a two-year Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program that combines full-time employment at Chicago Shakespeare Theater with coursework through The Theatre School at DePaul University. The program is designed to help students become highly versatile in management, leadership and cultural-decision making. Course components are complemented by full-time, salaried work experience at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Fellows learn from a distinguished faculty of working professionals who posses a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise and receive on-the-job training at the nation’s fastest growing theater company.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2013 academic year. For priority consideration, completed applications should be postmarked by December 15. Please visit The Theatre School at DePaul University's website for more information, or, contact email@example.com.
Internship opportunities at Chicago Shakespeare Theater are designed to provide an enriching, career-broadening experience for qualified college and graduate students. The level of responsibility and the ongoing workload of an ever-growing artistic institution require that interns be highly motivated, energetic and self-reliant. Please read each individual internship posting to submit your application for consideration. A personal interview is required as part of the final selection process.
Scheduling is flexible, though most internships are full-time and 3-4 months in duration. School-year internships are typically 2-3 days per week. All stage management positions are full time. Chicago Shakespeare Theater does not offer internships in directing, acting or design. No housing is provided and internships are unpaid; qualified applicants are eligible for college credit.
