Mary Ernster (Mrs. Potts) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where her credits include The Wizard of Oz and the Chicago Chamber Musicians' Peter and the Wolf. Other Chicago credits include The Light in the Piazza (Marriott Theatre); The King and I (Drury Lane Theatre); A Man of No Importance, Wings (Apple Tree Theatre); Much Ado About Nothing (First Folio Shakespeare); Merchant of Venice (Oak Park Shakespeare Festival); three seasons of A Christmas Carol, The House of Martin Guerre, Another Midsummer Night (Goodman Theatre); and My Fair Lady (Paramount Theatre). Television credits include: Early Edition (CBS); Normal (HBO); and Love Hurts (ABC Afterschool Special). Ms. Ernster holds a Bachelor's of Music from Northern Colorado and her Master's of Music from Northwestern University.
