Important Parking Information

Attending the theater May 23–June 3?

With sold-out performances of both Macbeth and Waiting for Godot playing at Chicago Shakespeare, we have expanded the dedicated parking areas in the Navy Pier garage in order to accommodate the larger-than-usual attendance. As always, we ensure guaranteed discounted parking for all Chicago Shakespeare audience members at every performance. Patrons driving to the Theater should enter the parking garage as usual, through the CHICAGO SHAKESPEARE DEDICATED PARKING ENTRANCE near Riva Restaurant at Entrance 1.

WHEN THE 1st-LEVEL SPACES HAVE BEEN FILLED…

  • Audience members will be directed to Level 6 of the parking garage, where we have reserved additional spaces for our patrons.
  • Once parked on Level 6, walk to the WEST ELEVATOR vestibule, where you can enter directly into Chicago Shakespeare’s 6th floor. From there, you can take CST’s elevators or grand staircase to our 2nd floor box office and main lobby.
  • And if you find parking on another level of the Navy Pier parking garage, simply take the WEST ELEVATOR from that level to LEVEL 2 to access the Theater’s main entrance.

Because of the popularity of these two shows, parking may take a few more minutes than it has in the past, and we advise our patrons to arrive a little earlier than usual for your performance. Navy Pier and Chicago Shakespeare have been working together to ensure that when you attend the Theater, there is always a reserved and discounted parking space waiting for you.

Remember, even if Navy Pier signs read “Garages Full,” just say “I’m here for Shakespeare,” and follow signage to Chicago Shakespeare’s dedicated parking entrance. From there, staff will be present to direct you to guaranteed parking on Level 1 or 6.
