The Play

Up to 48 hours prior to your performance, simply use the ORDER MEAL button at right to purchase your Boxed Meal or Snack Pack to enjoy during Tug of War: Civil Strife’s 45-minute meal break, prepared especially for Chicago Shakespeare by Mariano’s. You will need to select your performance date so we can ensure your meal is delivered fresh that day. With your food purchase, you also receive a reservation for special dining seating at the Theater. Space is limited—guarantee your place by ordering today! A cash bar will also be available during performance breaks.

If your show is less than 48 hours away and you did not pre-order a meal, don't worry! On the day of your performance, simply stop by one of the many “grab-and-go” options on Navy Pier. Or you can bring food from home, which we will happily store for you until the meal break.

Boxed Meals • $13
Each boxed meal includes a wrap, fruit cup, kettle chips, cookie + bottled water
• Roast Beef Wrap with herb + garlic Boursin cheese, tomato + arugula
• Pesto Chicken Salad Wrap with fresh mozzarella + Roma tomatoes
• Zorba the Greek Wrap with whipped feta cheese, tzatziki, olive tapenade hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes + spinach (vegetarian and gluten-free)

Snack Packs • $8
Each snack pack comes in a 4-compartment container and includes a bottle of water.
