Danforth Comins returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where he previously appeared as Banquo in Macbeth. Mr. Comins' nine seasons at Oregon Shakespeare Festival include: Mark Antony in Julius Caesar, Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Coriolanus in Coriolanus, Bassanio in The Merchant of Venice, Miki in Throne of Blood, Bertram in All's Well That Ends Well, Cassio in Othello, Orlando in As You Like It, Bo in Bus Stop, Lewis the Dauphin in King John, Loverboy in Ghost Light and Lucentio in The Taming of the Shrew. Regional credits include: Hamlet in Hamlet (Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts Theater fest); Loverboy in Ghost Light (Berkeley Repertory Theatre); Sheriff Joe Sutter in The Spitfire Grill, Valentine in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Suffolk in The War of the Roses, Aragonin The Merchant of Venice, Arthur in Ah, Wilderness! , Macbeth, Julius Caesar, Peter Pan (Utah Shakespeare Festival); and A Christmas Carol (Geva Theatre). Film credits include Walk In and Indigo.
