Bruce Coughlin (Orchestrator) makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut with orchestrations for Sense and Sensibility. Broadway credits include: 9 to 5, Light in the Piazza (Tony and Drama Desk Awards), Wild Party, Urinetown, Grey Gardens, Annie Get Your Gun, The Sound of Music, Once Upon a Mattress and The King and I (1996), plus additional contributing orchestrations for Big Fish, On the Twentieth Century and Something Rotten. Other New York credits include: Floyd Collins (Obie Award), Far from Heaven (Playwrights Horizons); and Giant (The Public Theater). Regional credits include: Children of Eden (Paper Mill Playhouse); Room with a View (The 5th Avenue Theatre) and Tales of the City (American Conservatory Theater). Opera credits include: Grapes of Wrath, 27 and Morning Star. International credits include: recent Assassins and Urinetown revivals (London); Finding Neverland (UK version); and Candide (London). Film credits include: Hairspray (“Miss Baltimore Crabs”) and Fantasia 2000 (principal arranger).
