Ethan Deppe returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his composition credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks) and the Short Shakespeare! productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew and Macbeth. Other composition credits include: Keep Ishmael (White Horse Theatre Company); The Taming of the Shrew (Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre); Jungle Book (American Eagle Productions); Hamlet, Richard III and Henry IV (Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival). Musical direction credits include: Million Dollar Quartet (Associate Music Director, Apollo Theater); Cats (Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre); Mr. Chickee’s Funny Money (Chicago Children’s Theatre); and The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Cortland Repertory Theatre). Percussion credits include: Short Shakespeare! Romeo and Juliet, Sunday in the Park with George, Follies, The Adventures of Pinocchio, Shrek the Musical, and Seussical (CST); Altar Boyz (Drury Lane Theatre); The Adding Machine (Next Theatre); and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Theatre at the Center). Mr. Deppe received a Bachelor of Music in music composition from University of Illinois.
