Brent Barrett makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Broadway credits include: Chicago, Annie Get Your Gun opposite Reba McEntire, Dance a Little Closer, Grand Hotel, Candide, Brigadoon and West Side Story. Mr. Barrett’s Off Broadway credits include: Closer Than Ever, March of the Falsettos, The Time of the Cuckoo, Portrait of Jenny and the role of Dr. Hannibal “The Cannibal” Lecter in Silence! The Musical.  Resident credits include two years as the Phantom in The Phanton of the Opera (Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian Hotel).  National tour credits include:  Ken Ludwig’s Leading Ladies, Busker Alley with Tommy Tune, Annie Get Your Gun with Cathy Rigby and Chicago (L.A. Drama Critics Award).  International credits include Kiss Me, Kate (Olivier nomination, filmed for PBS) and Grand Hotel.  Mr. Barrett has performed in concert at the Boston Pops, Minnesota Opera, Opera Pacific, Michigan Opera, Carnegie Hall, Royal Festival Hall and Birmingham Symphony. Recording credits include: Grand Hotel, Brigadoon, Dance a Little Closer, Closer Than Ever, The Busby Berkeley Album and The Maury Yeston Songbook. His solo recordings include: The Alan Jay Lerner Album, The Kander and Ebb Album and Christmas Mornings. Film and television credits include: The Producers, Longtime Companion, Hercules and All My Children.
