DISCOVER Tuley Park IN Chatham
Tuley Park’s origins trace back to the early 1900s, with finalized construction taking place during Chicago’s Roaring Twenties. Known for its Spanish-Revival style fieldhouse, the park also offers a community garden, a new playground with an interactive pool, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and a gazebo. Tuley has been a stop on the Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks tour every summer since 2012. The surrounding Chatham neighborhood has a vibrant cultural scene, with a focus on music, spirituality, and writing, and has once been home to legendary artists including Mahalia Jackson, Lorraine Hansberry (author of A Raisin in the Sun), and Chance the Rapper.
