DISCOVER GARFIELD PARK IN EAST GARFIELD PARK

Garfield Park totals more than 172 acres and was designed by William Le Baron Jenney, who is best known today as the father of the modern skyscraper. Widely recognized for its historic Golden Dome field house, the park also offers a swimming pool, baseball fields, an artificial turf athletic field, a fishing lagoon, tennis courts, floral gardens and playgrounds. Garfield Park is adjacent to the Garfield Park Conservatory (one of the largest conservatories in the United States and a major Chicago tourist attraction), which regularly hosts flower shows, beekeeping classes, and an Artist in Residence program.
