$20 tickets...what's the catch?
There isn’t one! We are committed to making our productions accessible, so this initiative was designed to reduce cost barriers to attendance for patrons under 35 years old. You can purchase up to two CST for $20 tickets per production, which are subject to availability by performance. They are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and non-transferable, and handling fees ($5 per ticket) still apply.
Where will my seats be located?
CST for $20 seating is distributed equitably throughout the theater space, including within premium seating sections. Your performance seating will vary by production and availability. If you choose to select your own seat when buying online, you'll be able to pick your exact seat location. Don't worry, though—in our three intimate theaters, there’s not a bad seat in the house!
Are $20 tickets available for every performance?
We allocate thousands of tickets across the entire season. Once you enter the CST for $20 promo code online, all performances with available CST for $20 tickets will appear in the drop-down list. Tickets to our most popular shows sell quickly, so buy early for the best chance to get your first choice.
I want to see a particular show, but there are no CST for $20 tickets available. Now what?

What happens when I turn 35?
Once you turn 35, you will stop receiving our monthly CST for $20 ticket updates—however, we'll still send you information on our current and upcoming shows, including special discounts to select performance dates.
What if I'm 35 or older?
We invite you to join CST’s email list to receive information on upcoming productions and special offers. And, if you know someone under 35 who would enjoy attending Chicago Shakespeare, please consider sharing information about CST for $20 with them.
