The Great Escape
When watching a play, it can be really fun to imagine what you would do if you were one of the characters. When Pinocchio and his father get swallowed up by the whale, he thinks of a plan for their escape. If you were in Pinocchio’s shoes, what would your plan have been to escape from the whale’s belly? What things might you need for your plan to work? Your plan can be as complicated or as simple as you wish. After you come up with your escape plan, draw a picture of it. Now if you ever do get swallowed by a whale, you’ll be ready!
