Jessie Fisher returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where she was an understudy in Funk It Up About Nothin'. Recent Chicago credits include: Cloud 9 (Gift Theatre); The Original Grease (American Theatre Company); Cabaret (Jeff Award for Actress in a Principal Role, The Hypocrites); Of Mice and Men (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); These Shining Lives (Rivendell Theatre); It's a Wonderful Life (Fox Valley Repertory); and productions with Chicago Children's Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Profiles Theatre and Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Television credits include Boss (Starz). Jessie is a graduate of the University of Colorado and The School at Steppenwolf; she also teaches at Black Box Acting Studio. Jessie attended Highland Park High School. When she was 11 and saw Chicago Shakespeare's productions of Richard III and The Winter's Tale, she recalls "I was completely captivated by the language and thought, 'I'm going to do that one day!'"
