Chris Starkie trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and the Central School of Speech and Drama. He previously appeared with the National Theatre of Scotland in Peter Pan and the 2010–11 international tour of Black Watch. His other theater credits include: Henry V (Shakespeare’s Globe); Young Pretender (Nabokov); Knives in Hens (Battersea Arts Centre); Borough Market (Breaking Butterflies); Last Train to Nibroc, De Montfort (Orange Tree); Macbeth, Gladiator Games (English Theatre Company); The Knave in Grain, The Sam Wanamaker Festival (Shakespeare’s Globe); and Baghdad Wedding (Soho, London). Film and television work includes: Walter’s War, Live! and Silence Is Golden. Radio work includes The Night They Tried to Kidnap the Prime Minister.
