Pat Moran

Musician

Mr. Moran is a multi-instrumentalist and composer fluent in a wide range of styles. He has composed original music and lyrics for more than a dozen professional theater productions, and has been resident composer/lyricist/music director for the San Francisco Mime Troupe since 2007. In addition to extensive live performance experience, Mr. Moran is a regular composer for film and television. He is an active and passionate educator and believes strongly in arts education as a means to address issues of social injustice. He has been an artist-in-residence at University of San Francisco, University of Miami in Ohio and California State University, Fresno. He received an MFA performer composer degree from the California Institute for the Arts and a BFA in philosophy with a concentration in ethics and public policy from Clark University.
