Bernard Balbot makes his Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Other Chicago credits include: She Loves Me (Writers' Theatre); Yeast Nation, It's a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play (American Theater Company); and A Christmas Carol (Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook). Regional credits include: Cyrano de Bergerac, Othello, The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Utah Shakespeare Festival); Hair, Romeo and Juliet and Androcles and the Lion (Hangar Theatre). What he most enjoys about performing Shakespeare is "being extremely articulate as well as eloquent" as a character who lives inside Shakespeare's language.
