Acclaimed director joins CST to introduce young audiences to the magic of live Theater

In 2010, Rachel Rockwell won Jeff Awards for Best Musical and Best Director for Ragtime and was named the city’s Best Director by Chicago Magazine. In 2011, the Chicago Tribune declared her “by far the best storyteller to emerge in the world of Chicago musical theater since Gary Griffin first made his mark with Pacific Overtures at Chicago Shakespeare Theater a decade ago.” This season at CST, the critics Ms. Rockwell most wants to win over are ages 5 to 18.
