Richard Rankin (Granty) trained at Langside College, Glasgow. He previously worked with the National Theatre of Scotland in the 2010–11 international tour of Black Watch. His other theater work includes: Good with People(Traverse/Paines Plough/Datum Point); Aladdin (NLP); The Lieutenant of Inishmore, The Pillowman, Mary Queen of Scots Got Her Head Chopped Off (XLC Theatre Company); and Celts in Seville (Celtic FC & Alyson Orr).Television work includes: Burnistoun, Taggart, The Old Guys, Townsville, videoGaiden and Legit. He was awarded Best Actor at the 48 Hour Film Festival for his performance in the short film Dead Ringer.
