Ben Carlson (Frank) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where he appeared as the title characters in Hamlet (Jeff Award) and Macbeth, and as the Bishop of Beauvais in St. Joan. His Stratford Festival credits include: Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Fluellen in Henry V, Feste in Twelfth Night, Alceste in The Misanthrope, Leontes in The Winter’s Tale, Touchstone in As You Like It, Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest, Brutusin Julius Caesar, Tranio in The Taming of the Shrew and Hamlet in Hamlet. Over twenty-five productions at the Shaw Festival include: John Tanner in Man and Superman, Cusins in Major Barbara, Andrei in Three Sisters, Eustace in The Return of the Prodigal and Chris in All My Sons. US regional credits include: Philadelphia, Here I Come! and The Vortex (Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia). Recent television credits include: Saving Hope, The Firm, Warehouse 13 and Rookie Blue. Mr. Carlson provided his voice in the Oscar-nominated short animated film Wild Life. Upcoming credits at Stratford Festival include Mary Stuart and Blithe Spirit.
