Brenda Barrie (Mary Stanley) makes her Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Other Chicago credits include: Mary Swanson in Middletown, Olivia in Sex with Strangers (understudy, Steppenwolf Theatre Company); Eva in Memory, Aunt Dan in Aunt Dan and Lemon, Li’l Bit in How I Learned to Drive, Florrie in Waiting for Lefty, Lauren in Beauty on the Vine (Backstage Theatre Company); Lulu in The Ruby Sunrise (The Gift Theatre); Dorothy in Mrs. Caliban, Mariette in Mariette in Ecstasy (Lifeline Theatre); Sara in Graceland (Profiles Theatre); Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire (Metropolis Performing Arts Centre); and Ala Caravaggio (Silk Road Rising). Her television credits include Chicago Code (FOX). Ms. Barrie received her BFA in theater from the University of Indianapolis and studied theater at the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland.
