Mary Ann Thebus (Kate Tardwell) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where she appeared in both productions of Richard III. She is a long-time Chicago actor, having been seen on most Chicago stages over her thirty-year career in the city. Other Shakespeare credits include Richard II and All’s Well That Ends Well (Goodman Theatre). Recent credits include The Boys Room (Victory Gardens Theater) and The Piano Teacher (Next Theatre). Upcoming credits include After the Revolution (Next Theatre) and The Three Sisters (Steppenwolf Theatre Company). Ms. Thebus is active in television and films shot locally and is a teacher of acting both at The Artistic Home and privately.
