Karen Aldridge (Queen Isabella) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where her credits include Love’s Labor’s Lost and the international tour of Le Costume directed by Peter Brook. Other Chicago credits include: The Ballad of Emmett Till, The Cook, Proof (Goodman Theatre); Seagull (Writers’ Theatre); Man from Nebraska (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); and Far Away, In the Blood (Jeff Nomination–Next Theatre). Regional credits include productions with Alabama Shakespeare Festival, American Conservatory Theatre, Magic Theatre, Aurora Theatre Company, Marin Theatre Company and AlterTheater. Karen holds a BA in Sociology from UCLA and an MFA in Acting from The Theatre School, DePaul University.
