Kari Sorenson  (Katherina Cavalieri) makes her Chicago Shakespeare Theater debut. Chicago credits include cover for Zerlina in Don Giovanni; La Fortuna and cover for Giunone and Minerva in Il Ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria (Chicago Opera Theater); and Clarice in Il Mondo Della Luna (Roosevelt University). Other credits include Elisetta in Il Matrimonio Segreto (Maryland Opera Studio); Constance in The Sorceror (Ohio Light Opera) and Luisa in The Fantasticks (Eastman Opera Theatre). She holds a BM from the Eastman School of Music, an MM from the University of Maryland and a professional diploma from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
