John Reeger  (Baron Gottfried van Swieten) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where his credits include: Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2 (at CST and on tour to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon-Avon); King John, The Moliere Comedies, The Winter’s Tale and The Wizard of Oz. Other Chicago credits include: 20 productions at Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook, including Sherlock’s Last Case, I Hate Hamlet, My Fair Lady and Peter Pan; 30 productions at Court Theatre, including James Joyce’s "The Dead," The Little Foxes, Hamlet and Twelfth Night; Goodman Theatre; Steppenwolf Theatre Company; Writers' Theatre; Northlight Theatre; The Marriott Theatre; First Folio Theatre; Apple Tree Theatre; Theatre at the Center and Noble Fool Theatricals. Regional credits include Goodspeed Opera, Skylight Opera and the Kennedy Center. He co-authored the musical The Christmas Schooner with Julie Shannon and has received a Jeff Award and After Dark Award for his work.
