Ora Jones (Maria) returns to Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where her credits include: Lucienne in A Flea in Her Ear (After Dark Award); Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor; Lychorida and Bawd in Pericles; and a Weird Sister in Macbeth. She is a member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company Ensemble, where her credits include The Violet Hour (Jeff Award Nomination), Carter’s Way (Jeff Award Nomination), Morningstar, The Unmentionables, and The Crucible. Other Chicago credits include Stage Manager for Our Town (After Dark Award, Writers’ Theatre). Film credits include The Weatherman, Stranger than Fiction, Save the Last Dance, and Were the World Mine.
